? have installed nagios and monitor linux and windows servers easly. On servers i enables agents with i want to monitor.
But for network printer i’m having problem.
I started to test on Hp network printers. Documentation of nagios says for check_hpjd plugin that,
The plugin is capable of detecting the following printer states:
Paper Jam
Out of Paper
Printer Offline
Intervention Required
Toner Low
Insufficient Memory
Open Door
Output Tray is Full
and more…
But in Nagios web interface I can see this hp printer but there are only two services that nagios listens. Ping and Printer Status.
How can i fix it ?
Can i see how many pages does this printer print out color or b/w pages ? How can i do ?
