All machines working except one VMs

Hi there!

I’ve got all servers being monitored in a Nagios server even the virtual machines, but theres is one that always presents the following error.

“CRITICAL - Socket timeout after 10 seconds”

I’ve checked the plugin and changed, I’ve revised the configuration all that’s ok, I even tried to increment the time out but all items that I want to monitor all present the same error, by the way the server is running on Ubuntu version 8.

Could anyone help me understand what is happenning ?

Thanks you in advanced .

Check to see if iptables is running and if so, either turn in off or add rules to allow the traffic.

Hi,

Iptables it’s like it shows

root:/# iptables -L
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Hi There !

Has picture shows the iptables dosen’t reflect the result of having this because there is another servers that are having communications has picture shows.

Best Regards,
