I’m new to this forum, I joined about three minutes ago, so if I’m covering something that has been covered before please just direct me to the appropriate forum/topic/professional therapist and I’ll happily be on my way.

I am installing Nagios for the first time and according to the instructions I ought to find an apache.conf file that I can include in my httpd.conf and get my web interface up and going. However, I’m not finding anything of the such. Can someone please direct me where I might find a copy of the apache.conf file? or post it for me here? or explain what I need to do in lieu of having it?

I don’t see that in my instructions:
but anyway, try it like this.
grep conf.d /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

Load config files from the config directory “/etc/httpd/conf.d”.

Include conf.d/*.conf
If the above is the same, then place a file in the directory “/etc/httpd/conf.d” named nagios.conf
In that file put the stuff you see in the doc that I gave you above. Follow the docs, it tells you to restart apache now.
