Browse tries to save statuswrl.cgi instead of running it

When I click on 3d status map it tries to download a file statuswrl.cgi to my pc vs displaying it in the web browser and on status map I get object not found. How do I fix these two errors? I only have the linux box that I installed nagios, no other devices configured.

I followed the quick installation guide.

Thanks
Eyepodder.

I think it’s related to FAQ 55.

I will check it now.

I can get everything to work except for the 3d status map. It’s still
trying to download statuswrl.cgi to my computer instead of running it.

Any ideas.

Did you install a VRML Client/plugin for the browser?..If not, take a look at the following link :

nagios.org/faqs/viewfaq.php?faq_id=52

nagios.org/faqs/viewfaq.php?faq_id=51

Hope that helps.
