Bypass motd when using check_by_ssh

HI to all,

Is there a way I can bypass motd of ssh? I cannot execute plugins if there’s a motd in my ssh. However, when I disable it, I can execute the plugins. But the thing is, I do not want to disable mthe motd in the server. I tried the option “-S 500” in check_by_ssh but still problem occurs. Please help

Create a file $HOME/.hushlogin for the user that you are logging in with on the remote host’s user’s home directory.

didn’t work. I login in the remote host and touch .hushlogin. Logout and reconnect. Still there are banner.

Worked for me. Perhaps you are not touching the file in the user’s home directory that you are running the check as. User nagios I suppose.
