Can Nagios be installed on Windows?

Hi all,

Just wondering, can Nagios be installed on Windows? After some research. the only way i know of is to install Linux on a VMware in Windows.

Are there any other ways?

This might be possible but i feel this will be time consuming. It is always best to install in native supporter OS.
