Cannot jabber notifications

I used this guide here riscom.com/~mechanix/nagios.html
However I cannot get the jabber notifications to work. I do get the emails though.

Here is my log:
[1142548260] HOST NOTIFICATION: jeffm;SI Web Server;UP;host-notify-by-jabber;PING OK - Packet loss = 0%, RTA = 18.40 ms

Please help.

Try running the command by hand. First login as user nagios.
then
command_line /usr/bin/printf “%b”… whatever…
it might say
bash: /usr/bin/printf: No such file or directory or some other error.
