Please can someone help with the check_disk alert …
I run the following command:
/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_disk -e -w 10% -c 5% -x /proc
this works great because only errors are reported but the problem we have is that if a filesystem reaches 96% and remians at this level then any other file systems that reach the threshold whilst the alert is already critical then an alert is not sent.
I know I can setup an individual check for each filesystem but this would not be practical as each system ahs over 12 filesystems on 43 servers being checked, this will increase to over 100 servers by the end of the year,
My question is …
is there anyway to get nagios to alert when an additional FS has reached the threshold?
