check_hpjd returning Error in Packet: Timeout from host

As stated in the subject, Im getting this error message when trying to check the status of a xerox printer.

Error in packet: Timeout from host xerox232me

SNMP is enabled on the printer with a GET community string of public and a SET community string of UEMS. Ive tried both strings with no luck. Can anyone tell me what is wrong here?

I have considered the fact that its not an HP printer. If this is the problem then is there any other plugins that will check non HP printers status i.e. online/offline, toner supply etc… ??
