CHECK_NRPE: Socket timeout after 10 seconds

Hi Guys,

I am facing error "“CHECK_NRPE: Socket timeout after 10 seconds” in one of my server for memory, swap, zombie processes & idle cpu percentage services.

Can anybody tell me the reason for this and also solution for it ?

only on one? did it work earlier?
try putting a higher timeout or check the docs welll to see if you didn’t miss something in the configuration.

Ya it is in one server only. I checked the configuration.More than 90% of CPU time is consumed by system and remaning for users.

seems like you have a different problem if more than 90% of the CPU is used…

I believe I had a similar problem with the swap plugin. I got the latest version and it works now
