check_smtp options?

Hi All,
Has anyone run across the need the need to have the check_smtp use a particular interface when sending the check? I have an elaborate load-balancing scheme setup and I need to send checks on certain interfaces (i.e., IP ADDRESSES)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Not a particular need in my case, no. We just specify the host address to use when running the check. However, there is a -p option you can use to specift certain ports, if that helps any.

If you want to use certain IP addresses, you might try creating two separate hosts in Nagios for each IP address and run seperate checks on both of them.
