Checkresults file number big amount

Hello,

I installed nagios using quickstart guide (nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/ … buntu.html) and I configured it for check 100 host with 6 services each one.

The problem is that the number of files in checkresult folder is huge (19452 files). I made this same installation in other host and the number of files didn’t achieve more than 100 .

What can be wrong in my nagios configuration?

You need to give more information. If you can post a copy of your cfg files and the service definitions you are using you willl get more of a response. Can’t tell without seeing what is going on.
