Configuration problem

hi, i have a linux server and when i installed nagios 3.0.3 i encountered the following error
configure: error: C preprocessor “/lib/cpp” fails sanity check

these are the steps which i did to to the installation
when i cheked the config.log file i couldnt find any errors listed.

so can u help me on this…?
