Could not fetch information from server

Hi,
Installed the nagios server 3.0.3 in MAc and Nsclient 0.3.1.14 in windws host with no problem, no error while verify the configuration. Trying to monitor cpu, hdd, mem, for the windows 2003 server.

while running nagios local/nagios , am getting following error message

“WARNING could not fetch information from server.”

both the nagios server and windows host are in same VLAN.

Will appriciate for the help.

What says the log_file? Double check the syntax for commands you’re using. Check the firewall settings on your windows host.

When posting such a question, it would be very helpful if you’d provide the info about your settings (conf files, command sytax etc.)
