I’ve got my Nagios server (3.0.1) up and running and monitoring all the hosts and services I care to exactly how I want it. I’m absolutely thrilled with the software and think it’s great.
I have one remaining quibble, and this is it. We utilize both the WAP interface and the full-fledged web UI for acknowledging issues when we have servers go down. On the web UI, the “Send Notification” box is checked by default. On the WAP interface, the checkbox doesn’t even exist as an option.
I want to disable these ACKNOWLEDGEMENT emails, or filter them out before they make it to our text pagers. I’ve scoured the documentation and came up empty. Any help?
