i have installed nagios on ubuntu 6.10 all ok…but i dont know how can do the discovery on my lan? help…

nagios doesn’t discover out of the box. I suppose someone may have made a script to do it, but if so, hasn’t shared it with anyone.
You can install “netdisco” and that has helped me alot. I use what I find with netdisco, to help me setup nagios properly.
