does nagios and these utils on windows use ssl? … otherwise could be a security risk

is there a snmp util at can sit on a windows pc monitor devices and pass data to nagios encrypted.

Hi,
not sure to understand your question but if you check a windows host with nagios you can use encrypted flow.
Use NRPE. It can be crypted via SSL.
On nagios : check_nrpre
On targeted host : install a nrpe server (nrpe_nt for windows)
