Hi all, just looking at setting up Nagios to monitor our environment, I work as part of a bank and there are various bits of red tape in terms of getting users set-up etc. So, can I use an existing user in place of ‘nagios’? and a different group in place of ‘nagioscmd’?
If so what are the implications of doing this? I’ve not installed Nagios anywhere before so help greatly appreciated. Many thanks,
