Downtime and Disable Active checks not working

Hi All,

I am using Nagios 3.2.0(for 1 year) and recently Nagios is sending alerts even if the problem device is put in maintenace mode or active checks/notification is disabled. There are flood of alerts for this issue :x .

  1. If I put a device in maintenance mode (Type: fixed), naigos will generate an alert during the downtime period.
  2. If I disable active checks/notification of problem host nagios still sends alerts.
    All the unix/wintel servers are monitored by Nagios agent.

Can anyone help to solve this issue please?
