Email Alert customize

Hi all,

I have one group and would like to send alert when services goes warning and critical. At the moment alert is sending this group frequently for critical and warning. In result their email box is filled up with ngaios email. Is there a way to send this group email say when it is critical and next email sends after couple of hours. or maybe summary of services at the end of the day to that group rather filling up their mailbox.

If a warning is being resent frequently, then it sounds like whoever is responsible for responding is not acknowledging the alert. Just acknowledging the alert will prevent warning messages from being resent.

To change how frequently a warning is resent, change the notification_interval value on the host/service … we use 15 minutes, which should be enough time for someone to get the alert and acknowledge it.
