Just a quick idea -apologies if I am bringing up a completely over -discussed suggestion.
Nagios alerts us via email. I have a very large Nagios roster - better than 800 machines. When Nagios alerts we currently copy the IP or host name, open the MUI, paste in the search box, and process the find to get to it in the MUI. It would be very beneficial to our operation if the email had a link to the Nagios MUI page for that host or service. Make the IP a url and link it to he MUI search function? I am not a coder, or at least don’t have enough skill to do this, but I would love to have someone tell me how or write it up. Its just a suggestion for the development teams.
