Error Service Description, host name or check command is NUL

When I add a new hosts, I receive following error.

Error: Serivce Description, host name, or check command is NULL

Error: Could not register service (Config file)
’/usr/local/nagmin/nagios/service.cfg’, line 3)

nagmin is what? A gui to configure the .cfg files? Sounds to me, that you should be using vi, and not some gui. This sounds to be a nagmin problem and NOT a nagios problem.
