Hi All,
Is it possible to group devices/services etc by another ‘Hostgroup’ eg. per site or per location? This would assist me enormously.
Apologies if this has been asked a million times, or is completely obvious - I’ve only installed Nagios yesterday and I’ve already RTFM and searched.

Can’t you create a hostgroup which defines a location?
Possibly, can hosts be members of multiple host groups?
One host can be member of several hostgroups separated by commas ( , ).

"hostgroups: This directive is used to identify the short name(s) of the hostgroup(s) that the host belongs to. Multiple hostgroups should be separated by commas. This directive may be used as an alternative to (or in addition to) using the members directive in hostgroup definitions. "
