I am running nagios 3.0rc2, I have added some new host definitions to the config directory. The config passed a “nagios -v” verification. I restarted nagios. The hosts appear in the web view “View Config -> Hosts” but do not show up in “Monitoring -> Host Detail”. The hosts are defined in different files to the existing hosts, but the files are under the correct config dir as specifiied by “cfg_dir” in nagios.cfg. Any pointers please?
why are you runnning a release candidate version? the latest is 3.2.0 and definetly no rc
