How to configure an action_url?

Hi everybody

I have Nagios 3 for monitoring 158 host, including some communication devices,routers switchs, and somw windows servers, i have saw, some time ago another nagios installation
on the web interface next to the hostname theres a buttom and when you click on it, another window was displayed and ping and traceroute options were available, i just found that
buttom is called action_url, but i can´t found any examples or how to configure it on Nagios, anyone have something similar ??? or some example about how to configure that ???

you can do almost anything if you are good enough at programming th underlying webpage you will be calling :slight_smile:
hava a look at hostextinfo end similar, you can bind in a link using $HOSTADDRESS$ or something else as a parameter…
