i have NOT found how to add a column that display the ALIAS field in web interface pages, can you help me?
nagios documentation and its logic is very complicated…why it does not use a db???
Alias fields? Those should be there at the webpage by the real names of hostgroups and servicegroups enclosed in (brackets). Click on Hostgroup Summary and see if they’re there.
And Nagios has pretty simple logic. You’ll get familiar with it, just work a bit with it and you’ll see. Every start is a hard one
