How to remove "downtime" from hosts/services

hey guys, uhh, for the first time in 4 years, my box encountered 13 minutes of downtime, rending every box it would monitor “down” for 13 minutes, i’d like to somehow remove that data, is there a way to nullify soft/hard states for a certain amount of time? for all or one by one?

You could edit the /usr/local/nagios/var/archives/nagios-xx-xx-xxxx-xx.log by hand.
To prevent that, you should have defined “parent host” in the hosts.cfg file. That way, the rest of the devices wouldn’t have been marked DOWN, but only “Unreachable”.
