I have been trying like crazy to install Nagios 3.0b6 onto Fedora Core 6. I have went by the documentation step by step and unable to get it setup. I get to the install-webconf and get this error:
make: *** No rule to make target `install-webconf’. Stop.
Any ideas as to why? I have searched and seem to be coming up blank, however, it seems others are getting this as well
I am not sure what causes the problem ( I am new to both linux and nagios) however, I went through and restarted using the newest release (3.0) and the problem did not resurface. I would try that route.

I too get the same error message when trying to run “make install-webconf”.
I am running the Stable version of Nagios 3.0 on Ubuntu 7.10.
Any thoughts?

I’ve got the same problem I am using Ubuntu 8.04 server x64 and Nagios 3.0.2, any advice?
