Can anyone suggests any ticket system which integrates with Nagios such that when any alarm comes up, it generates a ticket in the ticket system.
It can be like when I acknowledge the ticket then it generates or only host down alert has the ticket, basic requirement is to have one ticket system where nagios alerts are raised as a ticket.
We use RT (Request Tracker) as our ticketing system. You can set up RT to create a ticket from any emails it receives, then you simply set up a new contact in nagios and add it to your contact groups.
Having nagios email an address monitored by a ticketing system is likely going to be the route you’ll need to take.
