KVM and XEN monitor

Hi all,

I am responsible for the monitoring architecture in my company and I wanted to improve the quality of our current VM environment.
We are using XEN but in a couple of months we should pass to KVM

I found a nice plugin to monitor KVM from Red Hat (nagios-virt tool) but, apparently, it works only in localhost.

I was looking for a plugin that, also via nrpe, could be executed to monitor remote VMs, do you know anyone?

Same thing for XEN.

if it works on localhost with nrpe, nsca, check_by_ssh or whatever method you like you can run it on the remote host… or am i missing something? :slight_smile:
