Last Check Time

Hi,

Hope someone can help me with this one! For approximately 50% of the services that my Nagios is monitoring, the Last Check Time is a few hours old and in some cases a few days old! The same goes for the Next Check Time. Does anyone know why this is?

All of my service definitions use the same generic-service template, so the check interval should be the same (3 minutes), shouldn’t it?

Any help would be much appreciated.

ARe you using mysql or file retention of status, etc.? If it’s file, the recompile nagios to use mysql, and set that up. It’s fun using Mysql anyway.
status_update_interval=??? in the nagios.cfg file.
