Nagios.cmd permission

Hi all,
I have a nagios up and running.
The problem is that i have no writes to update the nagios.cmd file.
The nagios username is “nagios” and the apache username is “apache”

If i am changing the user that owns this file to “apache” nagios can update the nagios.cmd file…

The problem is, that when i restart the nagios service then the nagios.cmd file owner is set back to nagios, and then i can’t update it again…

How can i solve this problem? And who is changing my file permissions?

Got to change the ownership of the directory “rw” where nagios.cmd is located to nobody or the user your apache is using. You can find what i’m telling u in your nagios.cfg file. So, chown nobody rw/ & u r done.
