Nagios installations through apt-get

Hi! i’m a first time nagios user. ill be using it for testing… i tried to install it using

 $ apt-get install nagios3\*

i’m quite sure that the installation was successful… but i can’t access the webconfig…

i’ve restarted my apache2 and nagios3

 $ /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
 $ /etc/init.d/nagios3 restart

i still can’t access localhost/nagios

can someone tell me what suppose to be tha problem?? or any suggestions??

by the way i’m using ubuntu 8.10 and i have apache2 installed on it…
