Nagios shows host down although all services are up

Hi,

I check few hosts with check_http and check_x224 (RDP), without ping checks - those hosts block ping.
Nagios v.3.2.1 shows those hosts as down although all the services are up. See screenshot.

What is wrong? Thanks!

create a new check_host defintiion using a valid service… like http or x224 :slight_smile:

there will be no extra check… but at least it should show as up :slight_smile:

Took me an hour or two to figure out where to do that :?
I created a new host template (templates.cfg) with a modified check_command as you suggested.
Now all those unpingable hosts are green!
