I have nagiosmap installed on a server and some what working. The question I have is that once running and you tell it the locations of the hosts.cfg and the hostextinfo.cfg it says “please wait while reading hostextinco.cfg …” it stays that way forever unitl you stop it I waited for 12hours for it to read the file. Any help would be greatly appreciated
You might have to reconfigure/make/make install nagios. Did you run
./configure --with-template-extinfo
If not, try that, with any other switches you might want, and then if that does’t work, check the persmissions on the files. try 666.
