Nagiso and SNMP check on Cisco

#1

Hi all,
I’m searching some plugin for check on Cisco device interface status, interface statistics (packets, bandwith, errors) and other information.

I search on nagiosexchange but I don’t find any plugin that do this.

I find this link [http://www.nagiosexchange.org/cgi-bin/page.cgi?g=Detailed%2F1732.html;d=1](hyperlink url) that seems to do what i want, but the tar.gz is corrupted!

Could someone suggest me some plugin to try?

Thanks a lot!

Danilo

check_snmp will do all that for you

I try to use it and I’m able to obteim some information, but i don’t find a oid that report me the amount of traffic on the interface, like I see from the shot interface.

Do you know the oid for obtain the value
"5 minute input rate 1000 bits/sec, 2 packets/sec" and “5 minute output rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec”?

Ah, no, you won’t. There is only the oids for bits in/out etc. What I can point you to is a perl script called check_snmp_int.pl that is pretty good for b/w checks and also outputs perf-data if you want to graph it or something.
