I just installed a new Nagios installation here at work. Pretty sweet setup. But my boss has made me turn the checks down to every 15 seconds. Which means that we are getting notifications every 15 seconds. Does anyone have any good reasons (that I can backup) as to why we shouldn’t be doing 15 second checks (he hasn’t listened to me or the contractor that he brought in). And how can we scale back on the notifications and make 'em come every minute.
