Need to monitor Bandwidth on Gigabit Interfaces

Hello!

I need to monitor 1 Gbit Interfaces and I´m unable to find a plugin that will show me accurate bandwidth utilization.

Has anyone had experience with this and/or already have a plugin that works?

I´d love to do this via SNMP and (if possible) with no temp-files (on the fly).

We are currently using the MRTG Plugin but are somewhat unhappy with it because of the CPU/HDD overhead and the administration time it requires.

try nagiosgraph or, if you have many interfaces to monitor, it may be worth to have a look at cacti.

check_snmp_int.pl.

Great Plugin, SNMP-Based, and will correctly graph 10-100/MB 1-10/GB Interfaces.
