I am using REDHAT LINUX 9
NAGIOS 2.10
NAGIOS PLUGINS 1.4.11
Problem is When i point my browser to localhost/nagios/
I am getting Forbidden error(403)
But, Nagios is running. Problem is only with web interface.
Please help me in this regard.

the problem is: you don’t really give a lot of info on this issue; so it will be hard to guess where the problem comes from 
anyway:
-is there anything useful written in your acces_log and error_log files of your apache ?
-I assume you’ve set “use_authentication=1” in your cgi.cfg
-have you set “AuthType Basic” and “AuthUserFile path_to_your_htpasswd_file” in your aliases ? (that’s not very clear … don’t hesitate to read the doc on the subject of configuring apache :))
