I am running a recent installation of 64-bit Fedora (kernel 22.214.171.124-174) with KVM 0.8.2.
I successfully installed a 64-bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate on this platform.
Now I am trying to install Microsoft Office 2007. So far, I have been unsuccessful.
I have been able to mount the installation CD-ROM, but double-clicking on the
`autorun' program on the CD-ROM opens an instance of Notepad that says:
If I double-click on setup, I get an error message that says:
Error performing inpage operation.
I don't know very much about KVM or about Windows 7
or about 64-bit vs. 32-bit issues. What I want to know is,
where is the problem? Is this a Windows compatibility
problem (64-bit OS vs. 32-bit application program), or is
it a virtualization problem?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
