Plugin to check Intranet

hello all,

Now i have another question. I have a intranet that needs to be monitor. With my current setup I can check, current users, cpu load, memory usage, disk etc. Now I need to do more on this. I would like nagios to test the intranet by loggin in and logout (to check if people can log in or not), HTTP load.

I assume this could be done with some plugging writing. Does anybody has some idea - it would be great help.

My suggestion is to
try syslog-ng or rsyslog for this and monitor it by using nagios.

for rsyslog you can go to
www.rsyslog.com
For syslog-ng you can go to www.balbit.com

I suggest you to prefer rsyslog than syslog-ng
