Remote console access to VM

Does anyone know if you are able to use SPICE to make connections to a KVM guest.

I am not sure even sure SPICE is the right term here, but I am trying to find a decent way to have a cross platform client make connections to the VM console (including BIOS access).

Call me ignorant, but I have no idea what SPICE is…
Can you provide us with more info and/or a link on SPICE?

SPICE is part of Qumranet (RedHat’s) VDI solution. I am hoping at some point RedHat will open source this protocol, since RH does normally does this with product they purchase.
