Hi,
I am new to Nagios. I have installed nagios on vmware ubuntu linux and windows 2003 server on my laptop which has winxp. While checking the service problems section on nagios, the status information of windows server shows as “server port must be an integer”.
Can anybody help me as Iam unable to figure it out.

Last time I saw this it was because somebody had the configured the check_nt object definition’s “-p” switch to be followed by a password, rather than the port number. The password switch in the check_nt command is in fact “-s”

Hey Strides!!! I was able to trace out the problem… It was in the same file "command.cfg "wherein -p was replaced with -s for password. I am able to view the status, now!!! Thanks a million for your help.
