If I have a host name like:
HostDevice-1
and a device named:
HostDevice-10
Then a:
nagios -v nagios.cfg
produces an error saying that HostDevice-10 is a duplicate.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?
This is only true if there are entries in the extinfo.cfg…the test case is using a cfgdir for extinfo.
I’m using 2.0b3 on RHEL3
not sure but it could be limited to 12 characters… but i never heard of it…
