Start und stop windows service using nagios

hi

we have WIN2000 machine, where the windows service goes down.
we would like to monitor this machine and start the windows service automatically using nagios installed on debian etch stable.
should we use nagios-common or nagios2 is it better ?

nagios-common is a part of nagios 2 in debian packages - i recommend you to install nagios 3 manualy (it is very easy) on etch. do not use debian packages at all.
