statusmap_background_image=rack.gd2

#1

I’m having a problem getting the statusmap background to change to the one I created. I placed the rack.gd2 file into

/usr/local/nagios/share/images and removed the statusmap_background_image=rack.gd2 from the cgi.cfg file restart both nagios and httpd
but I don’t see the rack.gd2 background. Is there something else I have to do?

I even tried the full path in the statusmap_background_image=/usr/local/nagios/share/images/rack.gd2
I even tried a .gif file instead of the .gd2 file but no go.

Any ideas

Thanks

not sure if this helps… but it might be a clue: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=852&start=0

I remeber quite some fight to convert images in a gd format nagios liked… :confused:

I don’t think that is the issue as I have converted a bunch of icons for the map itself from .gif to .gd2 with giftogd2 with no problem.

giftogd2 file.gif file.gd2 0 2

I figured it out. I had to change the default_statusmap_layout=0 in cgi.cfg to see the background.
