Unable to login the nagios

Hi All,

I have installed and configured Nagios without any error.I have created a few users too.However I am not able to login the nagios. I am getting following error in the logs of webserver:

exist: /var/www/html/nagios
[Mon Jul 31 12:03:58 2006] [error] [client 10.21.16.19] File does not
exist: /var/www/html/favicon.ico

Kindly tell me if installation has any problem and if yes how to figure what is the problem.

What error do you get when you try to log in?

Hi Graham,

Thanks a lot . I have been able to login to Nagios. However I am getting error while trying to test the product. I have configured cfg files. I tried commands like ping_check and check_host_alive however I am getting following error:
(Return code of 127 is out of bounds - plugin may be missing)

I am not using any plugins.

Can you please suggest whats wrong here?

It appears you haven’t told us how you fixed your first problem, which helps no one.

You say you aren’t using any plugins, but yet you say you try a ping check? How is that possinble?
