Using more than one line in object definitions

Hi,

First post and my first impressions of nagios is that it rocks!

I’m creating hostgroup objects and I have too many entries to fit on the members directive. I’ve tried using \ to split on to another line but doesn’t see to work. Is there a way of doing this? I’m running 1.2

don’t split… just go on typing… :slight_smile:

I have quite a few host defined in my hostgroups.cfg file on one line using vi. Just let vi wrap when you are typing. If for some reason you hit a limit, then organize your hosts, and put them in different hostgroups.
