a massagebox required username and password poped up when I typed mywebserverip/nagios,then I typed the username and password created using the following command :
[root@localhost etc]# htpasswd -c /usr/local/nagios/etc/htpasswd.users nagiosadmin
New password:
Re-type new password:
Updating password for user nagiosadmin
but the username and password did not take effect
why???
