I have been reviewing the documentation and I want to verify that I am performing this correctly. Currently I set up a Nagios test box on Ubuntu 8.04 and am currently monitoring a single Windows XP machine. I am looking to expand the monitoring to multiple Windows Servers. Do I need to modify just the windows.cfg file and continue to add the machines there? Or do I need to build separate configuration files for each server?
I hope that I am correct that I need to add machines into the windows.cfg file. IF this is correct does this also apply to Linux servers also.
